NNA - The Public Relations Department of the Beirut Municipality indicated in an issued statement on Saturday, that "the Governor of Beirut, Judge Marwan Abboud, received in his Municipal Palace office today the Greek Ambassador to Lebanon, Despina Koukolopoulou, whom he briefed on the challenging situation and difficult circumstances the city of Beirut is going through."

"The issue of the displaced Syrians was also discussed during the meeting, with emphasis on continued cooperation between Beirut and Athens in many areas of mutual concern," the statement added.
