NNA - MP Mark Daou announced, in a press conference held this evening, the opposition's nomination of former minister Jihad Azour for the presidency, saying: "He is the candidate capable of protecting Lebanon from collapse and domination."

Daou called on the Speaker of the House to call for a session immediately to elect a presiodent through successive rounds.
