NNA - On the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Chinese Ambassador Qian Minjian addressed a letter to the Lebanese friends and Chinese compatriots residing in Lebanon, emphasizing his country's continuous support to Lebanon's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.

"China and the Arab countries are strategic partners for comprehensive cooperation, common development and future direction. China-Arab practical cooperation in various fields has continued to deepen and consolidate. The two sides have also maintained close coordination on hot issues in the Middle East and jointly contributed to maintaining peace and development in the region," Minjian said.

He thanked all Lebanese and Chinese citizens residing in Lebanon for their interest in China and follow-up on its situation, as they continue to contribute to the consolidation of the Sino-Lebanese friendship and the strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
