NNA - Metropolitan bishop of the Greek Orthodox Church of Antioch for the Archdiocese of Beirut in Lebanon, Elias Audi , on Tuesday welcomed Greek Ambassador to Lebanon, Catherine Fountoulaki, who described her meeting with Audi as “fruitful”.

“We’ve discussed the situation in Lebanon, and the difficulties facing the Lebanese people. I’ve reaffirmed Greece's solidarity with Lebanon and its people. Our thoughts are with Lebanon, and we pray for it to witness better days. We hope that Lebanon will overcome the difficult economic crisis it is currently facing,” the Greek Ambassador said on emerging.
