NNA - Minister of Health, Firass Abiad’s Press Office confirmed in a statement today that following investigations into the leakage of personal data registered on the MOPHPASS platform at Beirut International Airport, the defect was identified and measures were taken to solve it and prevent the recurrence of such violations.

The statement indicated that the leak is limited to minimal personal data of public figures, but without taking control of the platform.

According to the statement, efforts are continuing to develop security standards on this platform.

The Ministry referred this dossier to the Public Prosecution to file a complaint against any person involved in the violation.
