NNA – Aley - Polls closed in Aley district at seven o'clock this evening, after a long, calm and democratic election day, and no significant problems recorded.

The counting of votes began in the presence of ballot lists' delegates at the polling stations, following which ballot boxes will be handed over to the 'Aley Qaem-Maqam', along with the registry signed by the head of the polling station and the delegates to a registration committee consisting of 6 judges and assistants to check the results, to be later announced.

It is to note that the voter turnout in Aley’s district did not exceed 35% of the total number of voters.
