NNA - The Indian Embassy in Beirut shared a statement announcing the launch of Operation Sindoor by the Indian Armed Forces, targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The statement emphasized that the operation struck nine specific sites linked to planning and directing attacks against India.

According to the embassy’s communication, the strikes were “focused, measured, and non-escalatory,” with no Pakistani military facilities targeted. India reportedly exercised “considerable restraint” in the selection of targets and the method of execution.

The military action follows the deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which claimed the lives of 25 Indian nationals and one Nepali citizen. India reiterated its commitment to holding those responsible for the attack accountable.
