"Time 4 Sharing" illuminates by laser Mount Harissa for peace

NNA - "Lights for Peace" illuminate Mount Harissa and diffuse from under Virgin Mary statue; a festival through which "Time 4 Sharing" institution intended to call for peace and to involve 500 Lebanese children from various orphanages of different confessions through lighting Mount Harissa during the month of Virgin Mary.


This festival will be held for the first time and for which preparations will start at the beginning of May, 2014 through setting kiosks (small shops) in Harissa parking lot.


The festival will be concluded on May 31, by a free musical concert presented by Deputy Ghassan Moukheiber's musical band “Le BAM ", and under the auspices of Minister of Tourism Michel Pharaon.


Head of "Time 4 Sharing" institution-- initiator of the idea-- Viviane Boulos Toulom, usually takes care of orphans of all sects. She told the National News Agency that the "institution is glad to present the most up-dated project for social development," highlighting the positive impact of "Lights for Peace" project and asking all citizens and institutions to present this event and spot the light on it in the name of the deprived children of all sects in Lebanon.


"Opportunities for sponsorship are currently open for those who would like to help through purchasing the smallest electrical torch light, on behalf of the deprived children, as the institution is the main sponsor of the laser show which will last for 30 days," Boulos added, expecting 700 visitors to come this year to see the event.


She added that "Lights for Peace" festival would be concluded by a full day of celebrations and lighting ceremonies on 31 May, which will include entertainment games, free visit for the exhibition at teleferique parks, indicating in this context that they need the support of volunteers, non- governmental organizations, and others.


Boulos stressed that the visitors can reach inner yards for all children, pointing that the recital and light show will be presented at the Shrine of "Our Lady of Lebanon" along the road until Jounieh bay.


Boulos thanked all the non-governmental organizations which are participating in the festival, saying that a play by Giselle Hashem Zarad will be performed for orphans at Beit Anya before the final festival.


Boulous added that the Ministry of Tourism, Teleferique, Daroun municipality-Harissa, Jounieh municipality,  Harissa Shrine Priesthood, Rotary Club Beirut, Cosmopolitan, French Cultural Center, Tele Lumiere, FNB Bank, Liban-Swiss insurance, Baroud for transportation, IPT Jazz group, Theater Di Giselle, FGI games, "LeBAM' musical band for musician Ghassan Moukheibr, Shamali for press and Prosec S.A.L are sponsors of and participants in the festival.
