NNA - The State Prosecution of Cassation on Monday clarified that the government commissioner before the military court was handling the case of the recently uncovered espionage rings working for the Israeli enemy based on the available information.

It said: "In response to what has been published by some of those pretending keenness on patriotism, regarding the way government commissioner before the military court Judge Fadi Akiki is handling the spy networks case, the State Prosecution of Cassation confirms that Judge Akiki handles every case he is assigned without any dictating or direction but from his conscience and stewardship, based on the legal provisions and the available information, and in direct coordination with the State Prosecution."
