NNA - Elon Musk, head of the US government efficiency agency, said that Volodymyr Zelensky did not take the path of peace in Ukraine, but rather took more lives, according to "Russia Today".

Musk wrote in a post on the X platform: "Two years ago, I said that Ukraine must reach peace or it will lose many lives and gain nothing. Zelensky chose the second option. Now he wants to do it again. It is cruel and inhumane."

US President Donald Trump accused Zelensky during their recent meeting in Washington of recklessly endangering global security by refusing to negotiate peace with Russia, and warned that he was "gambling with the outbreak of World War III and the lives of millions."

He stressed the weakness of Ukraine's position in the war, considering that Zelensky does not have "pressure cards" to dictate how Washington should interact with Moscow.

Trump stressed that Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to negotiate and warned Ukraine to sit down to negotiations with Russia and achieve peace, or the United States will withdraw its support and leave Ukraine "to fight the war" alone.
