NNA - The elected Kazakh President, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, was sworn in today, to officially assume the post of President of Kazakhstan, according to "Russia News Agency".

The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Independence Palace in the capital, Astana, in the presence of the first President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, members of the government, as well as representatives of parliament and the diplomatic corps.
