NNA – The Army Command - Orientation Directorate issued a statement on Sunday, in which it indicated that the Army received today at Rafic Hariri International Airport 70 tons of food aid provided as a gift from His Highness, Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

The donation was received in the presence of a representative o the Armed Forces Commander and a delegation from the Qatari Embassy in Beirut.

In a word of appreciation, the Army Chief’s representative thanked the Qatari Prince for his repeated kind initiatives towards the Lebanese Army, wishing the sisterly State of Qatar continued peace and progress.
