NNA - Austrian Ambassador to Lebanon, Rene Amry, on Friday visited the Higher National Conservatory of Music, and met with its President, Dr. Hiba Al-Kawas, to follow up on a cooperation project with Austria that will be signed between the National Conservatory and the University of Music and Performing Arts (MDW) in Vienna, in the hope of strengthening cultural relations between the two countries through cultural diplomacy.

For her part, Kawas proposed a sustainable cooperation project between both countries, in addition to activating existing projects, including "Master Classes" and training courses from Austrian professors specialized in music students.

The pair also discussed ways to give remote yet specialized training music lessons, and the possibility of bringing trainers to Lebanon to practice playing with students.

In turn, the Austrian Ambassador promised to follow up on the matter with the Austrian official authorities and discuss them Kawas’s proposal.
