NNA - Caretaker Minister of Culture, Judge Mohammad Wissam Mortada, on Tuesday received at the National Library headquarters, the Indian Ambassador to Lebanon, Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan, accompanied by Embassy staff, whereby nearly 200 books from India were presented to be placed at the National Library and become accessible to visitors and admirers  of Indian culture.

The move comes as part of the Embassy's festivities marking the "iconic celebration" of India's 76th Independence Day. The books include various titles and topics from ancient and modern Indian civilization, as well as a variety of cultural, social, economic and art books, including books on Mahatma Gandhi, the prominent politician and spiritual leader of India.
