NNA - Minister of Culture, Judge Mohammad Wissam Al-Mortada, on Monday met with the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Muhammad Mahdi Esmaili, who visited him in the company of an accompanying delegation including Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Muhammad Jalal Firouzania, and a number of Iranian officials. 

The meeting reportedly discussed the best means to boost cultural cooperation between the two countries' ministries of culture. 

Minister Ismaili expressed his aspiration to develop and strengthen cultural relations between Lebanon and the Islamic Republic of Iran, putting his ministry's capabilities at the service of Lebanese culture in all fields “for the best interest of Lebanon and the Lebanese people.”
