NNA – Under the patronage of Higher Education Minister, Judge Abbas al-Halabi, represented by Professor Walid Zeineddine, the launching ceremony of Al-Irfan Foundation and Smart Global Groups’ model project took place at “Dubai Expo 2020” at the end of the ‘Knowledge Week’, a project that particularly focuses on integrating Educational Learning with Vocational and Technical Learning.

The event was attended by Lebanon’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Fouad Shehab Dandan; General Consul of the Northern Emirates, Assaf Doumit; Educational Advisor to the Lebanese Council of Ministers Presidency, Heba Nashabe; President of the Lebanese University, Professor Bassam Badran; Director of Projects in the UAE Government, Asma Al-Janahi; Head of the Lebanese delegation at Expo 2020, Rabih Baalbaki, and members of the mission and representatives of the Lebanese Business Council in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

Al-Irfan Foundation was represented by the Advisor to the Foundation's President, Director of External Relations Rami Ezzeddine, while “Smart Global Groups” was represented by its CEO, Sheikh Saleh Rafee, and the Regional Director, Saif bin Salem.
