NNA - The European Observatory for the Integrity of Lebanon on Tuesday indicated in a statement that “the collapse of the Lebanese Pound against the US dollar in Beirut is very rapid and requires mulling and questioning.”

“The greatest responsibility lies with the government and with the Lebanese Central Bank Governor, Riad Salameh, who is being prosecuted in many countries of the world on charges of embezzlement, money laundering, illegal enrichment, forgery, and the use of counterfeiters,” the statement added.
