NNA - Fuel distributors’ representative in Lebanon, Fadi Abu Chakra, on Friday told the "National News Agency" that

the reason behind the hike in fuel prices was the increase of the oil barrel price from USD 104 to USD 111, in addition to the increase in the black market’s USD exchange rate from LBP 26500 to LBP 26900.
