Parliamentary Committee Meetings Schedule:
10:00 am The Public Works, Transport, Energy, and Water Committee, chaired by MP Sajih Attieh, convenes to discuss a proposed law extending the deadline for submitting requests to regularize unauthorized wells, proposed by MP Ahmad Al Khayr, and to establish a mandatory syndicate for public works and construction contractors in Lebanon, proposed by MP George Adwan. The session takes place at the Library Hall, Parliament Offices Building.
10:30 am The National Education, Higher Education, and Culture Committee, chaired by MP Hassan Murad, meets to review the progress of investigations at the Ministry of Education and follow up on the recommendations issued by the workshop on the educational sector. The meeting is held at the Joint Committees Hall, 4th floor, Parliament Building.
11:00 am The Parliamentary Information Technology Committee, chaired by MP Tony Frangieh, holds a session with the Director-General of "Ogero" Imad Kreidieh and representatives from security agencies to discuss cybersecurity breaches, especially at the airport.

10:00 am Conference on "Community Protection from Addiction and Combating Drug Smuggling" organized by the Lebanese Pharmacists Syndicate and the "JAD" Association, under the patronage of Prime Minister Najib Mikati, at the Lecture Hall, Lebanese Pharmacists Syndicate in Beirut, Corniche Al Nahar.
11:00 am Participatory meeting at the headquarters of the Economic, Social, and Environmental Council with the Minister of Labor in the Caretaker Government, Dr. Mustafa Bayram, in the presence of the Director-General of the National Social Security Fund, Dr. Mohammad Karaki, to discuss "Labor and Social Protection Issues in the Current Situation". An information session for the media follows at 12:15 pm.
11:30 am Press conference by Caritas Lebanon at its headquarters in Sin El Fil - Basement - Floor 2, to launch the annual donation campaign titled "From Your Hand to Heaven's Gate".
3:30 pm Seminar titled "Document of Human Brotherhood and Global Peace as the Foundation for Full Citizenship in Lebanon", organized by the "Center for Civilization for Islamic Thought Development" (Beirut) and the "International Center for Human Justice" (Beirut), in collaboration with the "Tammouz Center for Citizenship Studies" (Jbeil), at the center's headquarters, New Airport Road, behind Café 77 / Mamma Mia Building – 5th floor.
6:00 pm Lecture in French via Zoom titled "The Dictionary in the Service of Scientific Research" by Dr. Najm Al-Din Khalafallah, lecturer at the University of Lorraine, France. The event is hosted by the Lebanese Association for Educational and Cultural Renewal, chaired by Rima Younes, in partnership with the French Embassy in Lebanon and the French Institute.
