NNA – The Turkish World Business Council and Turkish Cultural Association in Lebanon held a Ramadan Iftar in honor of the Turkish Ambassador, Ali Baris Ulusoy, in the town of Aidamoun, with several religious clerics, senior officials and prominent dignitaries attending.
In his welcoming word, representative of the Turkish International Business Council in Lebanon, Kamal Maksoud, valued the assistance provided by the Turkish state to all Lebanese regions and communities without discrimination. He considered that this help is not strange to Turkey, which is a sincere friend to Lebanon and has extended its support and always demonstrated its keenness on safeguarding the Lebanese state, institutions, citizens, security services and armed forces.
In turn, Ambassador Ulusoy thanked his host for the Iftar and outlined his country’s efforts to assist Lebanon during its current dire circumstances, referring herein to the Turkish aid to Lebanon, "the most recent of which is the aid during the month of Ramadan, which began to be distributed from Akkar and Tripoli to include all Lebanese regions."
He also stressed "the continuation of aid to Akkar and its people, as well as the rest of the Lebanese people."
