NNA – Governor of Beirut, Judge Marwan Abboud, received today at the Beirut Fire Brigade Command Center in the Karantina area, in the presence of the Regiment Commander, Colonel Maher al-Ajouz, a delegation from the Republic of Poland currently visiting Lebanon accompanied by a number of embassy diplomats.

Governor Abboud and Commander Ajouz briefed the delegation on the needs of the fire brigade in terms of equipment so as to keep pace with the global development in the fields of firefighting and rescue.

The delegation affirmed that it is "fully prepared to provide the required support in the near future, in addition to exchanging experiences through joint courses between the two countries."
