NNA - House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Friday received MP Ghassan Skaff at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain El-Tineh. 

The meeting touched on Skaff’s recent visit to the United States and covered the latest political developments in Lebanon and the broader region, as well as legislative matters.

Following the meeting, MP Skaff stated: “I met with Speaker Berri today after my trip to the United States. There is a growing consensus among all Lebanese that the situation in Lebanon is highly delicate and dangerous. Speaker Berri plays a key role in maintaining stability. We benefited from his insights, and I believe he is uniquely positioned to help steer the country from instability to stability.”

Later in the afternoon, Speaker Berri also met with former Minister Rachid Derbas. The discussion focused on political developments and general public affairs.
