NNA - The media office of Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, on Thursday issued a statement denying claims published by “Kalima Online” regarding a purported meeting between Prime Minister Salam and Hussein Khalil, political aide to Hezbollah’s Secretary-General.

“The report is entirely fabricated and baseless,” the statement read. “No such meeting has taken place between Prime Minister Salam and any Hezbollah official following the visit of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc to the Grand Serail. Furthermore, the content attributed to this alleged meeting is also fictitious and did not occur in any previous encounter.”
