NNA - President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Tuesday told a delegation from the Lebanese-Saudi Business Council: "In my meetings with the leaders of the Gulf states I have visited so far, I have sensed  their love for the Lebanese and their appreciation for their contributions to the advancement of these countries, as well as for their commitment to local laws and regulations, which reflects a bright image of Lebanon and the Lebanese in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries."

President Aoun added, "What encourages the return of investors, especially from the Gulf, is restoring confidence in Lebanon, and this is what we are working on in cooperation with the Parliament and the government. The reforms that have been approved and those that will be approved are the natural gateway to restoring this confidence."

On the other hand, President Aoun met at Baabda Palace with a delegation of the Lebanese-Brazilian Union.

President Aoun emphasized that, "the Lebanese diaspora constitutes a fundamental lever for the national economy, and the presence of the Lebanese diaspora abroad has contributed to the resilience of the Lebanese at home."
