Sharaf El-Din: The controversy over the month of Ramadan does not necessitate a decision to postpone the summer season

NNA - Minister of the Displaced, Issam Sharaf El-Din, considered that the controversy over the month of Ramadan does not necessitate a decision to postpone the summer season, saying: "It is very shameful that the two most important men in the state met and did not take anyone’s opinion, and they should have been careful in making this decision.”

In an interview with "Voice of All Lebanon", he revealed that he asked the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers yesterday to make an intervention in the Monday session to present the plan that he presented during the budget discussion sessions and that would save the country, protect the banking sector and return the depositors' money.

He stressed that the interest of Lebanon as well as Syria requires the implementation of the plan for the safe return of the displaced Syrians to their country, explaining that the refusal came from President Najib Mikati, "who dictates his opinion to all ministers."

Sharaf El-Din also accused the United Nations of not carrying out its responsibilities regarding the displaced.
