NNA - House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Friday welcomed at the Second Presidency in Ain El-Tineh, the Apostolic Nuncio to Lebano, Monsignor Paolo Borgia.

Discussions reportedly touched on the current general situation in Lebanon.

Speaker Berri also received the French Ambassador to Lebanon, Anne Grillo, with whom he discussed with the latest political developments, general conditions, and the bilateral relations between the two countries.

This afternoon, Berri met with US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Barbara Leaf, and her accompanying delegation, in the presence of US Ambassador to Lebanon, Dorothy Shea.

The meeting, which lasted for about an hour, touched on the general situation in Lebanon and the region.
