NNA - Metropolitan bishop of the Greek Orthodox Church of Antioch for the Archdiocese of Beirut in Lebanon, Elias Audi, on Wednesday welcomed Pakistani Ambassador to Lebanon, Salman Athar, who said on emerging: 

“Today I had a very productive meeting with his Eminence Metropolitan Elias of Beirut and during the meeting we discussed the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Lebanon. Our two countries share very friendly and brotherly ties and we discussed the various means to further strengthen the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Lebanon. We also discussed how to promote understanding between various religions in the world in order to promote global peace and prosperity. As long as I am here I am looking forward to the guidance from his Eminence and I will definitely be meeting him and taking guidance. I am very grateful and it was really my honor and my pleasure to meet his Eminence.”
