NNA – Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Makary, on Wednesday received in his office at the ministry, the Secretary General of the Middle East Council of Churches and head of the Synod of the Catholic Church, Father Khalil Alwan, and the Executive Director of “Voice of Charity” Radio and Television, Father Charbel Geagea.
On emerging, Father Alwan said he briefed Minister Makary on the preparations for the synodal assembly that will be held in Lebanon upcoming February 12-18, in which representatives of the 7 Catholic Churches in the Middle East will be participating, alongside delegations from Arab and Gulf countries.
