NNA - Lebanese Army Commander General Joseph Aoun issued on Tuesday his Order of the Day on the Resistance and Liberation Day, in which he said that May 25, 2000 is a bright date in Lebanon's history.

"May 25, 2000 is a bright date in Lebanon's history and a landmark victory, after the Lebanese defeated the Israeli enemy and refuted the myth of its military superiority," said General Aoun.

Addressing the soldiers, he said: "You are consecrating our right to confront the Israeli aggressions and to prevent the enemy from taking over our land and offshore wealth," he underlined.
