NNA - House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Friday received at the Second Presidency in Ain El-Tineh, Telecoms Minister, Dr. Johnny Corm, with discussions between the pair touching on the status of the telecommunications sector and the issue of activating Law 431 and appointing the regulatory authority and "Liban Telecom".

Speaker Berri also received in Ain El-Tineh Toufic Sultan, where they held a tour d’horizon over an array of affairs that concern the nation.

Speaker Berri met yesterday with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Dr. Abdallah Bou Habib, with whom he discussed the current general situation and the latest political developments.

On the other hand, Berri cabled the European Parliament President,  Roberta Metsola, congratulating her on her election as European Parliament Speaker succeeding David Sassoli.
