NNA - In light of the assault today Friday against the convoy of Sports Minister Faysal Karami in Tripoli, Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, requested from Interior Minister, Marwan Charbel, to call upon the central security council in Tripoli to convene, in order to review the assault issue and take necessary security measures in the city.
Mikati phone called Karami to check on his well-being.
