NNA - The Lebanese basketball team made up for its stumble against the Egyptian team, 70-82, in the first stage of the Doha Qatar International Friendly Basketball Championship, with its victory yesterday over the Philippine team, 75-54, in the Qatar University hall.

Lebanon will conclude the first round with a match against Qatar 5 on Sunday afternoon, and its victory qualifies it for the final match of the tournament, which is likely to be against Egypt.
