Lebanese national team to play decisive match against Irish team in World Cup qualifiers tomorrow

NNA – Lebanon’s national rugby league team will play its second match in the World Cup qualifiers against Ireland at the “Lee Sport Village” stadium tomorrow, Sunday, at 4:30 p.m. (Beirut time), as part of the fourth group competitions that includes Lebanon, Ireland, New Zealand and Jamaica.

The Lebanese team lost its first match against New Zealand 12-34 (first half 12-18), while the Irish team won its first match against Jamaica.

Lebanon needs to beat Ireland to maintain its chances of qualifying for the quarter-finals, noting that Lebanon aspires to be in second place to ensure its direct qualification for the World Championship "France 2025".
