NNA – A "Cycling Day" was held this Sunday between Barouk to Maasser Al-Shouf, under the dual patronage of the caretaker government's Youth and Sports Minister, George Kallas, and Displaced Minister, Issam Sharafeddine.

In a brief word on the activity, Kallas considered that "this pioneering initiative launched by the Cycling Club is very much appreciated, and is accorded great attention especially as it is an environmentally-friendly sport and helps to acquaint participants with various Lebanese regions while practicing this peaceful sport.” 

The Youth & Sports Ministry was represented during the event by Mohammad al-Shama'a, who conveyed to the athletes the Ministry's greetings and encouragement for such activities.
