NNA - Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Judge Bassam Mawlawi, on Monday received in his office at the Ministry the Yemeni Ambassador to Lebanon, Abdullah Al-Deais, who congratulated him on the success of the parliamentary elections.

Ambassador Al-Deais said, "It is a real beginning to address the problems and crises facing Lebanon.”

The Yemeni Ambassador also conveyed to Minister Mawlawi the greetings of the Yemeni political leadership represented by the Yemeni Minister of Interior.

Separately, Minister Mawlawi met with Jordanian Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid al-Hadid, who hailed the completion of the parliamentary elections.

Discussions between the pair reportedly touched on the current situation and the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Jordan.
