NNA - Deputy Head of the Islamic Shiite Supreme Council, Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan, called upon the Arab League and the Islamic Cooperation Organization to instantly work to stop violence and crimes in Syria by holding a meeting in Damascus for such purpose.
Qabalan's words came in the context of Friday Sermon.
The Sheikh described the turmoil in Syria as devilish sparked by a demon that "awaits every opportunity to corrupt people."
He accordingly called for praying and resorting to the teachings of Islam that can defeat the devil.
