NNA - Head of the Tawhid Party, Wiam Wahhab, called for approving on an electoral law based on proportionality in terms of Lebanon as either one electoral district or five provinces.
Wahhab visited on Thursday Deputy Head of the Islamic Shiite Supreme Council, Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan, at the headquarters of said council.
Wahhab favored the approval on the Orthodox Gathering law during the joint house commitees' meeting yesterday. He lambasted those attacking the Orthodox law as "ones responsible for finding confessionalism and sectarianism in the country." He labeled them as " dinosaurs which want to eat the share of the others beside theirs."
Sheikh Qabalan, for his part, deplored the dissemination of distorting pictures or caricatures for the Saudi King Abdallah Bin Abdull Aziz, calling upon Muslims to return to the teachings of Islam that lead to nowhere but right and salvation.
