NNA - Kataeb Party leader, Amine Gemayel, met on Tuesday with the Romanian Ambassador to Lebanon, Daniel Tanas.
Both men saw eye to eye over the paramount importance of having legislative elections be held at their set date.
"The [Romanian] government and the European Union are keen on respecting the constitutional deadline and having elections be held as scheduled," the Romanian diplomat said on emerging.
He also conveyed his country's trust in Lebanon's full-bodied immunity "a thing which has prohibited the spillover of Syrian developments into Lebanon."
