NNA - Rafic Hariri International Airport witnessed the arrival and departure of a number of Lebanese and foreign officials on Sunday.


In details, Agriculture Minister, Hussein Hajj Hassan, returned from a visit to Rome.


Also returning to Beirut was UN Special Envoy, Derrick Plumbly, following a short visit to the Saudi Kingdom, where he met with former PM Saad Hariri.


Furthermore, Palestinian Youth and Sports Minister, Mohamad Madhoun, arrived in Beirut coming from Egypt, while Iraqi National Security Minister, Faleh Fayyad, arrived from Baghdad.


On the other hand, Russian Union First Deputy Head, Alexander Torshine, left Beirut Sunday, ending an official visit during which he met with a number of Lebanese leaders.


Papal Council Head for boosting Christian Unity, Cardinal Kurt Kotsh also headed back to Rome Sunday, following his visit to Beirut.
