NNA - Justice Minister, Shakib Qortbawi, highlighted the important role played by justice registrars in the stability of the country through contracts and documents, calling for the establishment of a council to be elected by justice registrars themselves.



Minister Qortbawi patronized Saturday "Justice Registrars" Conference at the Movenpick Hotel in Beirut, in the presence of Information Minister, Walid Daouk, Deputy Elie Marouni, State Shoura Council Head Shukri Sader and scores of concerned dignitaries.



Qortbawi noted in his delivered word the criteria upon which justice registrars are being chosen, through a competition that guarantees maintaining professional standards.



He stressed the importance of "drafting a code of ethics related to the profession."
