NNA - President of the Republic, General Michel Sleiman, accompanied by his First Lady Wafaa arrived to Saint Maroun Church in Gemayzeh to attend the Mass, which is headed by Bishop Boulos Matar on the occasion of day of Saint Maroun, the patron saint of the Maronite community.

Also attending the mass are Prime Minister Najib Mikati, MP Abed el Latif Zein representing Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, President Amin Gemayel, President Hussein Husseini, Deputy Prime Minister Samir Mokbel, Ministers Nicola Sehnaoui, Chakib Qortbawi, Adnan Mansour, Gaby Lyoun and Nazem Khoury, and Deputies: Fouad al-Saad, Mohammed al-Hajjar, Henry Helou, Mohammed Kabbani, Ibrahim Kanaan, Nadim Gemayel, Michel Pharaon, Ali Osseiran, Atef Majdalani, and Sitreeda Geagea.

A group of Republican Guard greeted Sleiman upon his arrival.
