NNA - Prime Minister Najib Mikati presided over a Cabinet meeting at the Grand Serail on Wednesday to discuss 62 items on the agenda.
Five ministers, including Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour, did not attend the meeting.
Before the convening of the meeting, Social Affairs Minister Wael Abou Faour commented on the incident in Arsal town.
"The army is not a tribe or a sect as some parties try to portray it. The army is a respectable institution and guarantor of civil peace and is merely implementing the law," the minister told reporters.
Abou Faour called on the authorities to apply the law on those who killed the two soldiers in Arsal, urging all sides to water down the sudden jealousy on the army and end the closure of roads.
Environment Minister Nazem khoury assured that the president and Cabinet' position on Asral is very clear.
Defense Minister Fayez Ghosn assured there is a list of wanted people from Arsal.
"The Cabinet will provide the appropriate cover for the Lebanese army to carry out it field work," the minister explained.
For his part, Public Works and Transportation Minister Ghazi Aridi refused all attempts to lift the immunity from MP Boutros Harb.
Minister of Administrative Development Mohammed Fneish said since the first moment of the bomb attack in Bulgaria, Israel accused Hezbollah of carrying out this attack.
