NNA - Deputy Boutros Harb considered former PM Saad Hariri's latest stance as brave enough to guide the country straight from sectarian close-mindedness to a national openness reaching out secularism and civil state.
Harb's comment came Friday in light of Hariri's interview yesterday evening on LBCI.
Harb highly appreciated Hariri's opinions regarding the parliamentary elections and civil marriage issues.
Hariri voiced support for an elections law based on small-sized electoral districts and on forming a senate - as per Taef Accord in 1989.
"I hope Hariri's stances would not be discarded away, especially that they are Saad Hariri's and that they don't ensure the interests of some groups and movements which prioritize themselves over Lebanon," said Harb.
