NNA - Minister of Labor, Salim Jreissati, met Thursday at his office in the Ministry with his Sri Lankan counterpart, Dilan Perera, over the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Sri Lanka.



Talks mainly featured high on a draft agreement on the workforce issue to be signedby the two countries.



Perera reassured Jreissati that there would be no ban on the travel of Sri Lankan domestic workers to Lebanon.



"On the contrary, we are working on improving the condition of their experience and raise the age of those entitled to travel abroad for work between 21 and 23. We are also working on teaching them English and Arabic languages so that they should be able to communicate with the families they would be working for," he said.
