NNA - MP Strida Geagea denounced the incident with Sheikh Ahmad Al-Assir on Thursday, considering it as a "regretful and condemned" act. She added that such actions allow for similar incidents re-occur in other areas and regions in the Country with any figure having a different political vision and affiliation.


In an interview to "Radio Free Lebanon" on Thursday, Geagea stressed that it is the right of every Lebanese citizen to move around across all Lebanese territories with all liberty. Hence, she considered that no roads ought to be closed in the face of such citizens, as long as no law or civil peace violation act is committed, Geagea noted.
