NNA - MP Tamam Salam and Future bloc head Fouad Siniora met on Thursday over latest local and regional changes.
On emerging, Salam said that he had also discussed the heatedly debated electoral law with the Former Prime Minister.
"We agreed on the need to have Lebanese meet and discuss pressing issues," he added.
"We aspire to strengthen national unity away from disintegration and sectarian division," Salam noted, stressing that national cohesion should prevail over unpatriotic projects, in a bid to strengthen the democratic system in Lebanon.
