NNA - Member of Parliament, Ahmad Fatfat, rebuffed on Monday the Orthodox Gathering's election law proposal due to its proportional formula.
"In our opinion, it doesn't ensure true partnership in the country and it contradicts with the constitution," the Future bloc MP told "OTV".
However, Fatfat confirmed that his bloc's decision to refuse the Orthodox proposal would in no way hinder relations with its political allies, such as the Lebanese Forces.
"We have deep political bonds that go way beyond this," Fatfat asserted.
