NNA - Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc member MP Nawaf Mousawi said pluralistic Lebanon can only survive through settlements.
Speaking at a memorial service in the south, the MP said the first priority should always remain the resistance, adding that what natters to this resistance is that no one will stab it from behind or set an ambush for it in Lebanon.
He also commented on the forthcoming elections.
"We are looking forward for parliamentary elections that can be a prelude to achieve conciliation among the Lebanese and this is not very difficult to attain. If there is good intention among all parties then it is possible to reach an acceptable election law before the deadline," the MP argued.
Mousawi stressed that if March 14 is not too eager to proceed with the current election law then they should respond to the invitation of Speaker of the House Nabih Berri and attend the parliamentary session to approve a new one.
He hoped that March 14 will return to their senses and approve a new election law.
The MP called on all parties in Lebanon not to make any bet on quick changes in Syrian so they can invest them in the elections.
