NNA - President of the Republic Michel Sleiman arrived this evening at St. Nicholas Church, to present condolences on the passing away of Greek Orthodox Patriarch of the Levant and Antioch Ignatius IV Hazim.
Registering a word in the golden book of condolences, President Sleiman eulogized the Late Patriarch as a "man of faith, dialogue and knowledge".
Sleiman said the late Patriarch strongly defended rights and sacrifice till the last breath.
