NNA - President of the Republic, General Michel Sleiman, met Saturday afternoon with Head of Eastern Churches Congregation at the Vatican, Cardinal Leonardo Sandri.
Vatican's Ambassador to Lebanon, Gabriel Kacha, and Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Bshara Butros Al-Rai, also attended the meeting at Baabda Presidential Palace.
Cardinal Sandri conveyed to the President sincere greetings of the Supreme Pontiff, Pope Francis, and his keen concern for stability and national unity in Lebanon.
